Michael's nontraditional style is a product of an equally nontraditional background in the arts. Most heavily influenced by graffiti, he found tattooing an even more rewarding means of working on an Avant-garde canvas. Michael's designs highlight the interconnection between all living things. His plant-animal hybrids are an ode to his belief that all things are pieces of a greater whole. He is naturally drawn to geometric tattoos, but often accents traditional geometric designs with abstract elements. It's an appreciation for the relationship between objects that are vastly dissimilar on the surface that makes Michael's work unique.
